Solomon Kane Dresses Like Van Helsing, But Kicks Genuine Ass
Given Topless Robot‘s readership, I’m guessing most of you know that Solomon Kane is one of Conan the Barbarian creator Robert E. Howard’s other characters — a gun-slinging, sword-swinging Puritan who basically wandered the earth in the 1600s and killed bad guys. You might not have known there was a movie coming out about the character starring James Purefoy (who did a great job as Marc Antony in HBO’s Rome) — and finally, the first trailer as arrived. Admittedly, it’s all in Russian, but I’d say it’s looking pretty good. That might just be because I have no idea what they’re saying and thus have no idea who trite the plot is, but for now, hope springs eternal. (Via Twitch)
