The answer is no, as long as the world still produced nerds like Not Entirely Sure, who decided to beat Super Mario Bros. with the lowest score possible. That score? 600 points, and that’s only from the flagpoles at the end of the levels he had to finish — and yes, that means he finished every single level with a time of 000. Furthermore, he did it without any any cheats, and more impressively, without any saves — and watching him navigate the Hammer brothers in World 8 is a spectacle all by itself.
