Oh, @#$%, There’s Going to Be Actual New Dragonball Z Anime
First of all, it’s not going to be a new series, but a new movie. And unlike all the other DBZ movies which were ridiculous nonsense (except the one where toddler Gohan gets drunk and gives a generic villain merry hell, because that was totally awesome, as you can see above) that had no bearing on the real story of the manga and TV series, this movie takes place between the Majin Buu saga and the epilogue set 10 years later (manga chapters 517 and 518, if you must know) and has been declared all real and official by DBZ creator Akira Toriyama himself, whose actually been involved with the screenwriting and shit. So it’ll probably still be ridiculous nonsense, but it’ll be canon ridiculous nonsense. We’ll find out when the movie comes out next year. Thanks to Friginator for the tip. (Via ANN)
