Movie News Trifecta: Justice League, Robocop, Berserk

There are some rumors floating around about the upcoming Justice League movie, specifically who’s in the running to direct it. Now, all of these things are coming from “inside sources” and/or sites that specialize in comic movie rumormongering, so I don’t know that there’s even a grain of truth in any of them. But if they are true, they’re just too hilarious not to mention.

First, the Wachowski siblings are rumored to be in the discussion, as well as Gangster Squad director Ruben Fleischer. That’s the good news for DC, WB and fans. You’d best hope one of these rumors are true, because here are the other candidates:
? Brett Ratner
? McG
? Zack Snyder (depending on how Man of Steel does)

? Hugh Laurie, who just dropped out as the big bad in the Robocop reboot, has been replaced by Michael Keaton. I’m always glad to see Keaton get work; he practically disappeared after Batman, and that always bugged me. (Via /Film)
