All three classic adventure movies on Blu-ray. Comes with free commemorative Kingdom of the Crystal Skull coaster.
Although this horror flick from Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon didn’t look that special, everyone I’ve talked to who has seen it says it’s great. So I’d appreciate you guys not spoiling any twists for me and my fellow wait-til-its-on-DVD-ers in the comments. Obviously, we’re way past the statue, I’m merely asking as a favor.
Containing the episode “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo” which is, frankly, awesome.
? Ed Wood
Tim Burton’s finest film, about the legendarily terrible director Ed Wood and his friendship with the aged, morphine-addicted Bela Lugosi.
Sylvester Stallone’s non-masterpiece comes to Blu-ray juuuust in time to try and ride the publicity coattails of Karl Urban’s Dredd. I refuse to believe anyone wants to see Rob Schneider mugging in HD.
Chris Elliot’s seminal, brilliant, and infinitely weird sitcom.
On Blu-ray. This trilogy of giant monster movies is different from its ilk in that set in feudal Japan, and the monster is a giant humanoid demon in armor. I remember nothing of the plot of the films, but I remember the giant monster action is uniformly awesome, for whatever that’s worth.
The movie about zombie/vampire/things who decide to become vigilantes.
? Xena: Warrior Princess XXX
This porn parody saddles the fiercely heterosexual action/fantasy series with the implication that Xena and some of her female companians might possibly be lesbians. I know, right?! The SFW trailer is here.
