Full-Length Fast & Furious 6 Trailer – Yep, Still Appealing

Is it just me, or is anyone else astonished that the clouds in the poster don’t somehow approximate the shape of a “6”?

Eva Mendes, who appeared in the mid-credits epilogue for part 5, doesn’t seem to be in this one, but she’s replaced – spiritually if not literally – by Gina Carano, which feels like a plus after seeing the MMA-style fight she gets to have with Michelle Rodriguez in the clip. As for Europe being the setting – it’s pretty clear that when Universal finally puts out a box set of these movies, they want it to appeal to every global market.

Is Luke Evans really enough of a threat to the combined forces of Rock-Diesel-Carano and everybody else, though? He does appear to have a very fast tank, which helps.

I really hope this isn’t showing us all the money shots upfront. If the rest of the run-time is talk, it’ll be a deal-breaker. But if the whole thing looks like this, congrats, Justin Lin, for bringing me back after losing me…a second time. (Hated 3, loved 4, and I know that’s a minority opinion.)

The 3+ minute trailer is embedded after the jump.
