It’s Anime Morphin Time for Doctor Who

Courtesy of Rug Burn and the Nerdist Channel, the Doctor gets a faux-Japanese cartoon treatment as part of YouTube’s “Geek Week” (funny how that moniker coincides with my wedding week…and totally unplanned, obviously).
I think it goes a bit too overboard on the “Ha ha, anime is weird and makes no sense!” tip, but at least it has the decency to self-critique at the end. Plus having all the classic and neo-classic foes combine into an uberbeast is pretty cool even if it isn’t canonical or logical.
Now, do you think Peter Capalid will inspire the same kinds of fan tributes? I would bet they’ll be quite different.
