Sex Fantasies About Dinosaurs: Now a Literary Subgenre

Authors Christie Sims and Alara Branwen certainly know how to get the blogosphere’s attention. I’d seen this item earlier in the week, but only recently looked at the details.

Talk about a Jurassic pork…

Before she can complete her rites of womanhood and take her place in the tribe, she must provide a kill for her tribe. Beliria chooses to hunt the most dangerous herbivore on the plains, the Tri-Horn. No single hunter has ever successfully taken a Triceratops, but Beliria is determined to be the first. Naked, with no food, water, or provisions beyond her weapons, Beliria sets out. Tracking the Tri-Horn, she lays a cunning ambush, but it isn’t cunning enough.

Her attack caused the big bull Triceratops to lose his mate. Now he intends to replace her- with Beliria!

Horrified and aroused by the horned giant, Beliria must find a way to control the situation, or she may find that this Tri-Horn is really too much for her to handle.

I’m pretty sure these authors never understood that “horny” is not a word meant literally. Oh, and “Ha ha!” You’re not up on your dinosaur research. There were no adult triceratopses!

Oh, there’s more…

In a land before time, Layla hunts for her tribe. The men belittle and threaten her, a woman who hunts like a man, until, desperate, she sets out alone after the most fearsome beast in the world- a T-Rex.

As she hunts the giant predator, a very special T-Rex is hunting her- this T-Rex has psychic powers and a desire for human flesh. Naked and alone, Layla bargains with the beast: her body for her life.

Can Layla accept the beast’s carnal demands? Can her body accommodate its relentless desire? Can she hold to her part of the bargain? Or will she become the T-Rex’s next meal?

Is it weird that my first reaction was, “Where does she find a modern swimsuit in a land before time?” As opposed to “Psychic dinosaur rapist? Something is very wrong with you.”

Lest you misunderstand, Amazon spells it out:

Warning: This is a tale of monster sex. This story was written to unlock your darkest fantasies and innermost desires.

One of the authors would have us believe that she is one of her own cover girls. I smell BS there – wanna bet it’s some dude?

If dinosaurs aren’t your thing, these writers also have books about fucking Orcs, gryphons, werewolves and demons. If it actually is a woman coming up with this stuff – sorry, real-life guys, you will never measure up.

Still a better love story than Twilight?
