Constantine Gets Weirdly Meta Stop-Motion Webisodes

jonconnoir.jpg

Normally, you’d expect webisodes to fill in some kind of story gaps. But John Constantine doesn’t do things the normal way.

So in “John Con Noir,” we get John Constantine, the real life person (as embodied by a stop-motion puppet) opining on John Constantine the TV character, and searching for missing writers Daniel Cerone and David Goyer. It never occurs to him, as it does all of us, that the world of comic-book adaptation might fare better if Goyer remained missing.

Constantine airs tonight at 8 p.m. Watch the strange short below, and then feel free to use this as your spoiler discussion thread.
