Lloyd Kaufman Just Reminded Us All of J.J. Abrams’ Forgotten 1982 Sci-Fi Masterpiece Credit

Kaufman has a vested interest in this no longer being forgotten, because it’s a film now owned by Troma. Nightbeast is a semi-remake of a 1978 movie called The Alien Factor, which partly inspired a teenage J.J. Abrams to write to director Don Dohler. Dohler ended up letting him compose the soundtrack.

The rest is best left for you to discover yourself. With zero hyperbole, I think I can say this is the best trailer to be associated with J.J. Abrams that you will see all week. And I don’t say that lightly.
