Even James Bond Thinks Quantum of Solace Sounds Like a Goddamn Tomb Raider Movie or Something
I’ve got good news and bad news regarding the 22nd James Bond movie. The good news is that it’s actually based on a actual, Ian Fleming-written James Bond short story, from From Your Eyes Only, which is apparently a James Bond short story collection, despite what the Roger Moore movie of the same title implied.
The bad news is that the short story is about a fancy dinner party, to which Bond is invited. No shit.
More bad news: The title of the short story and the 22nd Bond film is Quantum of Solace, which is so heartbreakingly goofy I’ve begun hitting myself in the face, and have no intention of stopping.
There’s no other good news, but there is this pic of Quantum of Solace (*shudder*) Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko. It’s cheering me up.
