Genndy Tartakovsky Returns to Cartoon Network and Awesomeness with Sym-Bionic Titan

I’ve heard some good thing about the new CG Clone Wars cartoon, once it got to TV and moved past the generally awful movie. I’m willing to believe it. But I also believe that it’s not 1/10th as good as Dexter’s Laboratory and Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky’s Clone Wars cartoon, which was pure awesomness in animated form. Frankly, I think Tartakovsky can do wrong, so now that I know he’s making a new series, I’m as excited about that as I am anything. From Wired:
Cartoon Network is bringing animator/director Genndy Tartakovsky back to prime-time television with a new sci-fi series called Sym-Bionic Titan. The show, one of several announced Wednesday as part of Cartoon
Network’s dramatically expanded development slate, will focus on three
extraterrestrials from the war-torn planet Galaluna who crash-land,
only to be swept up in high school and the fate of the Earth as we know
it.
The premise is basic, but the promo art has a giant cyborg/robot/thing beating up a massive dinosaur, and I’m wetting my pants in anticipation. At least, I hope that’s anticipation. Maybe I should see a doctor.
