The Cast of Battlefield: Los Angeles Have a Much Higher Opinion of L.A. Than I Do
There’s a new trailer for the Battle: Los Angeles movie, which now might be called World Invasion: Battle: Los Angeles, which includes more colons than I feel safe dealing with. But the point is that in the movie, a voice-over says that Tokyo and New York and other places have fallen, but they can’t afford to lose L.A.
I hate to be that guy, but any city that can have stand-still traffic on a six-lane one-way highway at 4am on a Wednesday morning… well, I personally can afford losing that city to aliens. Maybe we can trade it back for New York City or something. Or maybe a promise to leave Milwaukee alone. Hell, if America’s going to be invaded by aliens, we might as well try and keep the light beer flowing. Are we even sure the aliens really want LA? Have they tried driving the 110 during rush hour?
