Talk and Relevant Discusssions in Snark: Doctor Who “The Caretaker” SPOILER Thread

Thanks to stupid Time-Warner changing the stupid channels to stupid HD where I can’t bring up menu options and changing the stupid channels on stupid me – my pre-set season-record did not, in fact, record this one.

So I’m just going to offer my thoughts on what I imagine the episode was like, and we’ll see how accurate I am, and how easily confused people who don’t read closely get. Shall we?

-Okay, so the Doctor has been married and had a granddaughter, but he needs Clara to explain how condoms work? REALLY? What shape is his penis, anyway? Or can he just run a sonic screwdriver over the ovaries afterward?

-If the Skovox Blitzer mated with a Dalek, would it be a Bad Wolf Blitzer?

-“What the %$#$#^ is a jelly baby?” OH NO YOU DI’ ENT, MOFFATT!

-“John Smith.” You couldn’t pick a better name than that?

– I can’t believe the alien we thought was dangerous turned out to be misunderstood. Oh wait, yes I can.

-Clara must seriously have missed the entire last decade if she thinks talking to military guys this way is normal.

-OMG LEELA’S COMING BACK?

-Robot heaven teased again. I wish Bender were there. He’d be dictator-for-eternity by now.

-“Matt’s a stupid name.” We get it; he’s not Matt Smith. Move along.

-“Coal Hill’s going to go up in smoke!” HAHAHAHAHA that’s stupid.

-I still like Capaldi but can the writers please stop failing him?
