I haven’t yet caught up to my DVR of Comedy Central’s “Night of Too Many Stars,” as Sunday, for me, is “Night of Too Many Shows for the DVR to Handle.” But I don’t figure it’s going to get any nerdier than watching autistic teen pianist Jodi DiPiazza duet with Weird Al Yankovic on the greatest ode to a Jedi master based on a Kinks tune ever made. When the backup choir comes in, it is, as they say, all the feelz.
Only minor complaint? I’d like to have heard more of Jodi’s voice solo. Solo, so-so-so-Solo…Hmm, I sense an alternate lyric idea…
