Home>Cartoons>The Brave and the Doomed The Brave and the Doomed By Rob Bricken October 7, 2010 Cartoons, Comics 0 Comment Guess who’s showing up on Batman: The Brave and the Bold this Friday? The Doom Patrol. Unfortunately, it’s the classic members of the team, meaning my favorite version of the Doom Patrol — the Grant Morrison run — won’t be animated. It’s not shocking, but I kind of hoped that as insane as B&tB was, they might give Crazy Jane a shot, or let Batman help fight the Brotherhood of Dada (I imagine Danny the sentient transvestite street is probably a bit out there, even for B&tB). I guess I’m never going to get my version, unless someone at WB approves a direct-to-DVD cartoon movie, but since they’ve scrapped everything that doesn’t have either Batman or Superman somewhere in the title, I don’t think the odds are in my favor.
