The One Piece of The Spirit Art You’re Allowed to See
Last week, a whole mess ‘o images from Frank Miller’s The Spirit got leaked, revealing the Spirit in an all-black suit, a large green screen, and not much else. Lionsgate went crazy trying to get everyone to take them down (TR included). Now Lionsgate is giving out the art, although it’s just the three-part “outside” poster above, which could not be any more Frank Miller-ized if the Dark Knight Returns Batman were having sex with Nancy from Sin City in the background. I’ve never read The Spirit, so I was unaware that his super-power was making love to an entire city. Is that at the same time, or does he do it in shifts based on voting districts?
