This past Tuesday morning, Brian Hanson explained why the Harry Potter books?which a few hyper-serious, oversensitive fans felt we were criticizing, despite a total lack of negative comments?were responsible for the hyper-serious, overly dramatic Anne Rice-for-the-tween-set vampire soap opera books known as the Twilight series. As if to throw a cross in our damned faces, now Entertainment Weekly features the books/upcoming movie on their cover, screaming that they are the next Potter series. Sigh. (Via /Film)
