“Magic?!”
I know, I know. I just posted a Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe video yesterday. But watch this thing?which purports to explain the story of how the two worlds merge?and tell me it’s not hilarious. My favorite moment is when when Superman gets hit and says “Magic?!” as if this covers why the Joker can hurt him, or why he can’t fly, or why Batman only throws his Batarangs above the heads of his opponents.
Also, I like the idea that only one property will survive after this cataclysmic fight. If Midway or DC chose two people to represent their companies, forced them to play the game, and the losing company had to fold, I’d give ’em mad props for that.
