Joker Runs the Asylum (But Only on PS3)

Lovable TR commenter Arsenal alerted me to this billboard in PlayStation 3’s Home service which announces that the Joker will be a playable character in the upcoming and awesome Batman: Arkham Asylum game… but only in the PlayStation version. Before you Xbox fans freak out, you should know it’s only for some exclusive Challenge Rooms and not the game proper; you’re not missing out on something integral.
Plus, I got to play a bit of Arkham Asylum this weekend at my local Best Buy, and given how many awesome combat animations Batman has, I have to wonder how the Joker will be made a playable character. Either he’s just a skin and the Joker will suddenly be a combat monster, or they’ll have to make him a whole new set of moves and animation… and if Eidos has to pony up that much time and effort, I would bet even money that the Joker ends up as a download on Xbox Live in a few months.
