Like Hamlet Wasn’t Screwed Up Enough Without Being a Klingon
Yes, it’s Hamlet‘s “To Be or Not to Be” monologue finally performed the way Shakespeare always intended — by a nerd in heavy latex make-up speaking a fake alien language. This is being performed by Brian Rivera, who bravely sent me the video to show you all; I’d praise him for the way he manages to convey Hamlet’s depression and ennui and psychoses even while dressed as a Klingon and barking, but I’m afraid someone might try to do more of Shakespeare’s works in Star Trek. Oh hell with it — Brian, great job. Now call me when somebody does an all-Bajoran version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
