?? Avatar
I cannot imagine watching Avatar without 3-D and out of a theater. Without that sense of spectacle, Avatar is nothing more than a very well animated but utterly cliche movie that is terrifyingly long. I seriously have no idea why anyone without one of those ridiculous 3-D TVs would want to buy it. Although I can think of one good reason why someone would rent it.

? Merlin: The Complete First Season
I knew BBC was doing a Merlin series, but I just assumed it was like all their other Primeval/Robin Hood/Being Human/whatever shows. Now I find out Merlin and Arthur and everybody in it are teens and it’s just a Harry Potter rip-off? Ugh. At least it’s giving a paycheck to Anthony Stewart Head as Uther Pendragon, I guess.

? Transformers: Seasons 3 & 4
The episodes that take place after the movie. Apparently, Season 4 has only three episodes and stars the Headmasters. I did not know this. Neat.

? Xena: Warrior Princess Season 1 and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys Season 1
I assume these came out on DVD previously, but I’m not sure and I can’t be bothered to check. So here they are, just in case. Also, if you’re still one of those guys lusting after Lucy Lawless, you should be watching Starz’s Spartacus series, since Lucy Lawless stars in it and is naked pretty much ceaselessly. Since the show is produced by her husband, Rob Tapert, this is a little creepy. But hey, Xena nipples.

? Beginning of the End
Sadly, the MST3K version is long out of print (I had to buy my copy on Ebay), but if you like Peter Graves, giant grasshoppers, or Peter Graves fighting giant grasshoppers… well, this is the movie for you.

? Orlock the Vampire 3-D
This is just another release of the public domain Nosferatu, but in what is assuredly magnificent 3-D, just as director F.W. Murnau intended in 1922. The production company is called “Quality Cheese Productions,” so I’m sure the Criterion Collection is really shitting their pants right now.

? Neowolf
“Torn between the girl he loves and the dark side of his dreams of
fame, a young musician is seduced by a touring rock band called ‘Neowolf’ with a mysterious past and a hungry habit that comes with the
full moon.” BWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
