The Green Lantern’s New Clothes

?Apparently it’s quite the day for nerdy nudity; besides the Star Wars burlesque video below, /Film reports that Ryan Reynolds costume in the Green Lantern live-action movie does not exist. That is to say, it will be made entirely through CG, and he’s filming the movie in some kind of crazy LED-covered mo-cap outfit. While this decision will live or die on how good the suit ends up looking — I’m assuming the CG will be fine, but more the design — I think this should end up really cool. It’ll help set Green Lantern apart from the other superhero films, and as /Film points out, since the suit is both alien in nature and Hal has to will it on instantaneously a few time, the CG should be perfect for achieving both of those things. Anyone particularly perturbed about this development?
