According to MST3KInfo, a gentleman named Rupert Munch Jr. is making a sequel to Manos: The Hands of Fate, made infamous as one of the worst movies ever made by its inclusion on Mystery Science Theater 3000. Munch has convinced the woman who played Debbie — the little girl who gets taken in by Manos’ kindly satanic coven of wives at the end of the flick — and who was in real life the daughter of the dude who played Manos — has given her blessing to the project, and will star in it. I assume that’s the “wife” in the video that — well, I think you’ll spot her.
As per the video announcement above, it appears it will be a bit of a
comedy and a loving tribute to the original more than a proper seuel,
which is probably for the best. You can’t improve upon perfection, and Manos is truly film that is perfect in its awfulness.
