The Resident Evil Movies Inch Ever-So-Slightly Closer to Resident Evil
Behold the second trailer for the 3-D-tastic Resident Evil: Afterlife movie. since I refused to watch the third RE movie after sitting through the purgatory that was the second RE movie, I have no idea if this is new or not, but it appears Afterlife stars Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory), Claire Redfield (Heroes‘ master thespian Ali Larter), Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller) and Wesker (Shawn Roberts), I assume for the first time. I’m not particularly excited by them finally getting the game’s characters altogether (finally), if only because I think Milla Jovovich’s Alice is still a minor deity or something in the movies, right? Enh, whatever. I just wonder what made it a good idea to include all the fan-favorite characters in the fourth movie and not, say, the first movie. Sigh.
Oh, G4 actually released this trailer like two weeks ago, but for some reason all the copies I found had the sound synched up wrong, so I’ve been waiting. Although it’s not like the movie seems devastatingly worse with the sound all fucked up. (Via First Showing)
