Holy @#$%, There’s Going to Be a Sequel to The Wicker Man (The Good One)
If you have any appreciation for the classic horror masterpiece The Wicker Man –the original 1973 Christopher Lee one, of course, not the recent Nic Cage insanity — you’re probably aghast right now. Why would some make a sequel to one of the best horror flicks of all time? Well, I was right there with you until I learned that The Wicker Tree, as it’s called, is 1) being directed by Robin Hardy, who also directed the first one, and 2) will also star Christopher Lee. Holy shit. There’s obviously room for disappointment, but those two facts alone transform this from Unnecessary Sequel to Ridiculously Necessary Sequel for me. (Via Bloody Disgusting)
