Mo’ Assassins, Mo’ Creeds

Do you have any interest is seeing how multiplayer Assassin’s Creed looks in action? Do you have 15 minutes worth of interest? If you do, you’re in luck, because this is a 15-minute video of the multiplayer side of the upcoming AC: Brotherhood — basically a whole game of stalking, chasing, killing, and being killed. It took me a bit to remember how it worked, but it’s just trying to kill a specific target; it benefits you to act natural so 1) your target doesn’t flee, and 2) the dude who’s inevitably trying to kill you doesn’t realize you’re a PC. I assume there’s a bit more to it than that — if you perform a stealth kill, maybe that doesn’t show up on your pursuer’s screen, so you can stay incognito — but I’m just guessing. What’s weird is that despite my innate hate of multiplayer games, I’m kinda digging this. I don’t know why. Maybe because it seems really simple and easy for new and old players. Or maybe it’s the fact that literally hundreds of digital guys are being murdered on the streets of Rome, and no one gives a shit. Fun! (Via Kotaku)
