That’s So Raven — Significantly More Raven Than I Expected, Frankly

?The CW is developing a series based on DC superheroine and Teen Titan Raven. Huh. Obviously it’s to replace Smallville, which is finally ending this season, but I’m still a bit perplexed as to how Warner Bros. chose Raven as opposed to… well, just about any other DC character. I worry that some exec heard “emo girl hero does black magic” and figured it was close enough to Twilight that maybe they could jump on the bandwagon; I assume that exec’s pupils also turned into dollar signs.
Maybe it’ll be fine and fan-friendly and riveting television. Maybe. I tell you what, though — I’ll bet you a million dollars that Raven ends up a high school student. (Via Newsarama)
