The New Sonic Game Looks Deceptively Not Bad
A bit of fuzzy footage for Sega’s upcoming Sonic Generations game has appeared, and… well, see for yourself. It involves nothing but Sonic and racing, and reportedly it will include no other characters to play or nonsense like fishing mini-games or kissing human women. Kotaku says that the gameplay can actually be switched between 3-D racing and classic 2-D side-scrolling Sonic, which seems to me to be Sega finally giving up on trying to make one game that appeals to all Sonic fans at once, and effectively making two games, one for each camp, but in one package. I almost feel a little sorry for Sega in having to do this much work, and then I remember Shadow the Hedgehog and I stop feeling sorry for them.
