Breaking: Most People Still Hate Nerds
It’s time to break out the self-loathing part of the Topless Robot mantra again; turns out Jay Maynard, a.k.a. the Tron Guy, was on America’s Got Talent last night, and the whole debacle was just a horrifying nightmare of pitiful sadnes. What was Tron Guy’s talent, you ask? Well, that seems to be the problem; Tron Guy was under the impression that being Tron Guy was a talent unto itself, but the judges and crowd disagreed, mocking and booing the large, bespandexed nerd in a way that might have been hilarious if it weren’t so incredibly depressing. Tron Guy, if you’re reading this, please don’t let the fuckers get you down. I’ve seen an episode of The Osbournes as well as a Howie Mandel stand-up comedy set, and I assure you have more talent than either of them. Still, it’s okay if you want to get a job now. Really.
