The Green Goblin That Might Have Been
Damn. Damn. FX company Amalgamated Dynamics just released this video of a concept for the Green Goblin from Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man movie from 2002, and holy shit it is awesome. Like, heart-breakingly so — because while I didn’t mind the armor that much, this would have been infinitely cooler. I don’t know why Raimi chose not to use it — maybe he couldn’t figure out how Willem Dafoe would transform into this, or may Dafoe himself shot it down — but damn. That would have been awesome.
