John Romero Needs More Bitches

John Romero, one of the chief architects of the seminal
first-person shooter Doom, is returning to the genre that made him a
celebrity.It’s been a dozen years since Romero has made a shooter, but in an interview with Eurogamer, he confirmed plans to return to making action games, though he’s not ready to divulge a lot of details yet.
“Yes, I’m definitely going to be making another shooter and it will
be on PC first,” he said. “I don’t want to talk about the details but I
already know what it is. I’ve already kind of designed the thing and
it’s pretty cool — though of course, I am going to say that. I think
it’s a neat design, I haven’t seen the design anywhere else.”About the only hint Romero gave was the game would be “MMO-ish” and that the character would grow and get better over time.
I like the way Denjiro, who sent me the tip, put it best: “Oh, shit.” So do you think Romero just wants more bitches than all the bitches that he got from Daikatana, or he’s lost some bitches in the meantime and just wants to replenish his bitch stock?
