I feel kind of awkward posting this immediately after an obituary, but oh well. Max Brooks stopped by the Discovery show Sons of Guns last Wednesday night to instigate a competition to see which team could make the better zombie-killing gun. Now, as per his The Zombie Survival Guide, Brooks would prefer a katana over any firearm, but since there no Sons of Japanese Sword Makers shows out there, I suppose we can forgive him. Honestly, I don’t know much about guns, but the one described above sounds pretty damn effectively. I’d probably lose the grenade launcher, though. Given my propensity for blowing myself up in FPS games, I feel pretty sure I’d end up doing at least as much damage to myself as to any members of the undead. (Via Geeks of Doom)
