Remember Me Is Either Brilliant or Terrible

I can’t decide which. Watch this 6-minute video explaining the fighting combos of Capcom’s cyberpunkish hacking fighter game, and you tell me. On the plus side, there are more than 50,000 combos you can perform. On the negative side, pausing fights to go constantly assemble combos seems like a horrible idea — it completely breaks up the action of the game (which is my same complaint about the WiiU controller, so at least I’m being consistent). On the third, unknown hand, it looks like you can program four main combos which should probably get most of the work done, so maybe you won’t have to constantly pause and rearrange shit, and besides, there’s obviously a lot of variety you can fight with even beyond the combos. Still, I’m wary. And excited. And dubious. And rather confused, as you might guess.
