300 Prequel Apparently Sensitive to all the Homoeroticism Comments from Last Time

The official site is now up, and they’re definitely flaunting the fact that Eva Green’s in it. Because, y’know, the filmmakers want you to be aware that they like the ladies too. Not that there’s anything wrong with being more into Gerard Butler’s manly abs of steel and pecs of…hey, look over there! Hot chick!

A woman commanding armies in a man’s world, this skilled and ruthless warrior–the real power behind Xerxes’ throne–knows that the rules have never applied to her. And never will. Meeting Themistokles head-on with the Persian armada, Artemisia will set the sea on fire, assaulting Greece not only for power and glory but for vengeance, the roots of which are known only to herself…and for which she is willing to sacrifice thousands and alter the fate of nations.

Hers is one of only two character bios up so far.

Serious question: does her involvement make any difference whatsoever in your level of interest for this film, pro or con? I liked the first one but feel no need to see another.
