Leonard Nimoy Revisits His Youth

Our favorite Vulcan is the subject of a new documentary by his son Adam, which revisits the actor’s early years in Boston selling newspapers and vacuum cleaners, among other things.

They’ve put the first ten minutes online, and while it’s not especially science-fictiony in any way (nor do those first ten minutes yet deal with, shall we say, Pon Farr), it’s a fascinating window into the formative years of an icon.

Especially since he seems to have evolved some Shatnerisms in the present day – check out the hand-gestures early on, coupled with an assertion that all his ideas are great.

Watch after the jump.
