Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Art Contest Winners

Great job, everyone! I hope you all had fun with the contest – most every entry had at least something worthwhile to it. The assignment was to draw the Michael Bay movie turtles based on some leaked descriptions of the toys, and the plot thickened when the source for said descriptions actually showed up in comments to say which ones were and weren’t more accurate! In the end, though, I judged on which pictures I considered the best.

All honorable mentions who followed the rules of actually drawing one or more of the characters described have been posted in an album on the TR Facebook page. When it came to the two shirts to give out, it was a tough call, but in the end, I made it.

Patch999 is winner #1. He did all the turtles well, but in the end his Mikey had the most personality.

Winner #2 is CommanderX, for seizing on the fact that these were Playmates toys, and styling accordingly.

This came very close to being anybody’s game, so please don’t hesitate to enter the next one if you didn’t make it this time. Winners – tell me your size and style (remembering that we have NO men’s XL).
