Guillermo del Toro Confirms Pacific Rim Sequel

Sometimes a giant robot is the only thing that can beat a giant monster. And sometimes you have to pull out those giant robots and beat the giant monsters all over again.

Director Guillermo del Toro has confirmed he’s making a sequel to Pacific Rim, set for release in April 2017. That’s a while away, so for now you’ll have to settle for this video of del Toro making the announcement.
