A Real American Subscription Plan

?This is neat. Hasbro is starting a G.I. Joe subscription service through the Collector’s Club, where they’ll offer subscribers two figures a month for six months. There’s no news on when it’ll start (besides this year) or how much it’ll cost, but the first two figures will be Z-Force Quarrel and Cobra Nano-B.A.T. (above), two figures which I assume hardcore G.I. Joe fans are delighted by but I don’t have the foggiest idea about. You may have realized this is very much like Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics subscription, although it remains to be seen if Hasbro will have a sales site that still doesn’t work three years later the service begins, or if the sub will include toys that are incorrectly made, or if they’ll make better versions of the subscription figures later that aren’t actually part of the subscription. Hopefully they’ve already bought JoeyCollector.com, though. (Via The TerrorDrome)
